Fluttershy Xbox 360 Controller by xXWormBoyXx Fluttershy Xbox 360 Controller by xXWormBoyXx
This is one of the first Xbox 360 controllers I custom painted. I made it for a friend, and I'm planning on making more to sell.

If you would like one, I will tell you when I have one up for sale, just PM me.

~Dan

Check my profile for some humanized pony fan art, along with some Final Fantasy Fan art!

UPDATE: My Rarity controller is nearing completion, although some things I ordered on Amazon are still not here yet. So it'll be done the day I get my parts.

I'm about to get into making color schemed ones of these, if not cutie marked ones too. Might I ask, where did you get the shell parts? Or did you just paint the original one? And how tough was it to get the SMT diodes off? I've done SMT soldering before, but I don't know if my equipment would work for those.

I painted over the original controller parts. The LED lighting is pretty easy to get off (I used a pair of 3 dollar tweezers from a local hobby shop, and a 10 year old Soldering Iron :P) and just coated the existing LEDs with Solder, and kinda rubbed it off.

Good luck on making your own :D

How did u change the colors of the joysticks and the lights?

The joysticks were replaced with ones that were made with colored plastic. The lights are SMD 603 LEDs. You have to remove the LEDs already in a controller, then solder the new LEDs on.

If you want me to, I could probably make one for you. Although I wouldn't be able to start for a while because:
1) It's freezing outside, and I only paint outside.
2) I'm extremely bogged down with school work.

Hello, I haven't been on deviantArt in a while. So are you still interested in buying one of these? If so, what pony (Guessing Vinyl Scratch)? Also, I probably won't be able to start until summer. I spray paint outside, and its way too cold here to paint outside.

The D-Pad and the start / back buttons need to get some pink on them, but otherwise it's very well done.

Thanks! I was thinking about painting the D-Pad as well, but I wasn't sure how that would affect the performance of someone playing a quick-reaction game (such as a fighting game). I'm afraid of painting almost any button because I'm afraid it might get stuck, but I believe I do have other ways to get the buttons colored once I start making more controllers.

What did you make the pony and butterflys with? I'm just curious cause they look 3D kind of. I have a Vincent Valentine controller that I painted for the PS2 sadly it's broken though =/. But still supper super awesome.

Also Daniel you could honestly sell these for quite a bit. Cost of controller or someone mailing you there already preowned controller but they pay the shipping cost. Then add in the cost of the paints and LED plus 20 for your work and whatever the shipping cost back will be. Lots of people would buy them cause there are a lot of bronies.

Yeah and Bronies pay a lot for merch. If I had the money I'd pay a lot. The pictures are actually printed with a thick coating of glossy clear spray paint

They look good but I don't like how glossy they are but it may just show up bad on camera. If I was a bronie I'd probably want one, or I'd actually probably be making on for myself lol.

Yeah, plus, this was the first one I ever did, so I didn't quite put the last layer of clear spray paint on correctly.
